LAWYERS AI APP PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Lawyers AI application using it within the territory of European countries where the app is available, including both Member States of the European Union and other European countries. Lawyers AI is an application based on a closed artificial intelligence module trained on legal content and other materials relating to law, including legislation in force in various European countries. Lawyers AI relies at a basic level on solutions provided by OpenAI Ireland Limited.

Lawyers AI enables you to ask legal questions to AI assistants and receive answers based on legal provisions. In selected versions and scopes of operation, the App may also allow you to generate and send a summary of your conversation with the AI assistant to a law firm of your choice.

This Privacy Policy may be made available in various language versions. In the event of discrepancies between language versions, the Polish version shall prevail unless mandatory provisions of law provide otherwise.
1.DATA CONTROLLERS AND PROCESSORS
1.The controller of your personal data in the Lawyers AI application is Marek Pawlak.
2.Some personal data of users may be processed by the following processors:

3.If you choose to instruct us to forward your data and the summary of your conversation with the AI assistant to a law firm, that firm will act as an independent controller of the personal data provided to it, and we will only carry out data processing activities in this respect.
4.Data processing by Lawyers AI is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and Polish data protection laws. For users from other European countries (e.g., the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway), we may additionally apply relevant local regulations, such as the UK GDPR or applicable national acts.
2.SCOPE OF COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA
As part of the services provided, Lawyers AI collects the following personal data:
1.Account Data: Your data provided to Lawyers AI when creating an account in the application, including first name, last name, phone number, payment card details, place of residence, or data collected on the account, e.g., transaction history (“Account Data”)
2.Content: data entered and generated by you while using Lawyers AI, including information you enter, responses generated by AI assistants, the content of documents you upload, feedback (“Content”)
3.Information from social platforms: information about your interactions with Lawyers AI content posted on social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube
4.Automatic information: data generated by the IT systems that create and operate Lawyers AI, including: Login data for Lawyers AI, such as IP address, browser or device type, unique device number; Data on how the app is used, including the types of services you use, in-session activities, date and time of access, device type; Cookies and similar technologies: we use Cookies and similar solutions to improve the quality of our services and to manage them correctly (see below – Cookies).
5.Information from third parties: in exceptional cases, we may receive your personal data from third parties, based on consents you have given to those entities. 
6.The App does not collect precise data about the location of the mobile device.
3.PURPOSES OF COLLECTION AND DATA PROCESSING
1.Lawyers AI collects and processes your personal data for the following purposes: to provide services; to improve the quality and develop the services provided; to communicate with you in connection with the Services; to prevent crime and abuse in the use of the services; to meet legal requirements and protect users’ interests; to generate a summary of interactions with the AI assistant and send it to a law firm of your choice on your instruction.
2.Lawyers AI transmits data entered into the chat with the AI assistant for the purpose of generating content. These data are transmitted to OpenAI Ireland Limited. 
3.Lawyers AI may transfer your personal data to law firms whenever you instruct us to do so. In such a case, the following will be transferred: the summary of the conversation with the AI assistant, your first name, last name, place of residence, phone number and email address.
4.Lawyers AI may transfer your personal data to third parties in order to pursue legitimate legal interests. Categories of processors include: payment service providers, banks; providers of IT tools, IT services and software; social media platforms; external companies providing services to Lawyers AI; public authorities and other bodies acting under the law and entitled to obtain such data.
5.In the event of transferring your personal data outside the European Economic Area, Lawyers AI ensures the level of data protection required by the GDPR, in particular by using providers who apply standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms provided for by law. Details of processing can be found in our providers’ privacy policies (links above).
6.Content generated by you is used to train the model on which the Lawyers AI service is based. Content is passed to the model and used in real time to expose it to real-world problems and data. This allows us to continuously improve the quality of the services provided. To the extent required by law, such processing is based on your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4.YOUR DATA RIGHTS
1.Right of access. You have the right to access your personal data that we store at any time.
2.Right to erasure. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data or permanently delete it yourself from our databases.
3.Right to rectification. You have the right to request a change to, or change yourself, your data if it is imprecise or incorrect. 
4.Right to information. You have the right to request information about how your personal data are processed.
5.Right to object. You have the right to object to the data processing activities we carry out. 
6.Right to withdraw consent. You have the right to withdraw consent given to us for the processing of personal data at any time. 
7.Right to data portability. You have the right to request that we provide your data in a structured digital form. We reserve the right to charge you for the costs of excessive or unfounded data preparation. 
8.Right to complain. You have the right to lodge a complaint about our personal data processing activities with the competent data protection authority. Depending on the laws applicable in your country of residence, you may also have other rights related to the processing of personal data; where these laws grant you broader rights, we will respect them.

6.COOKIES POLICY
1.Cookies are small text files installed on the device of a User browsing the Service. Cookies collect information that facilitates the use of the website – e.g., by remembering the User’s visits to the Service and the actions taken.
2.Lawyers AI primarily uses so-called service cookies in order to deliver services to you and improve their quality. Accordingly, we use cookies by storing information or accessing information already stored on the terminal device (computer, phone, tablet, etc.). Cookies used for this purpose include: cookies with data entered by you (session identifier) for the duration of the session (user input cookies); authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication for the duration of the session (authentication cookies); cookies used to ensure security, e.g., for detecting authentication abuse (user-centric security cookies); multimedia player session cookies (e.g., flash player cookies) for the duration of the session (multimedia player session cookies); cookies used to monitor website traffic.
3.Lawyers AI may also use cookies for marketing purposes. For this purpose, Lawyers AI stores information or accesses information already stored on a telecommunications end device (computer, phone, tablet, etc.). The use of cookies and the personal data collected through them for marketing purposes, in particular for promoting services and goods of third parties, requires consent. This consent may be given through appropriate browser configuration and may be withdrawn at any time, in particular by clearing the cookies history and disabling cookies in the browser settings.
7.DATA RETENTION POLICY
The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as the user uses the App and for a reasonable period thereafter. The Service Provider will retain automatically collected information for up to 24 months and may then store it in aggregate form. If you would like the Service Provider to delete user-provided data that has been submitted through the App, please contact us at kontakt@prawnicy.ai, and the Service Provider will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the user-provided data may be necessary for the proper functioning of the App.
8.CHILDREN
1.The Service Provider does not use the App to knowingly obtain data from children under the age of 13 or to target marketing to them.
2.The App is not intended for persons under the age of 13. If the law of your country of residence provides for a higher age at which a child may independently give consent to the processing of personal data in online services (e.g., 16 in many EU countries), use of the App by persons below that age is only possible with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from persons under the relevant age. If the Service Provider determines that a child under the age of 13 (or other applicable age) has provided personal data, it will immediately delete it from its servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact the Service Provider (kontakt@prawnicy.ai) so that appropriate action can be taken.
9.SECURITY
The Service Provider cares about protecting the confidentiality of user information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and stores. For example, it restricts access to such information only to authorised employees and contractors who need to know the information in order to operate, develop or improve the App. Please note that despite the Service Provider’s efforts to provide reasonable safeguards for the information processed and stored, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
10.CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. If we make such changes, we will inform users accordingly. The new content of the Privacy Policy will be published, and the Controller will ensure access to previous versions of the document.
